Leonard Baskin (August 15, 1922 – June 3, 2000) was an American sculptor, illustrator, wood-engraver, printmaker, graphic artist, writer and teacher at Smith College. This collection consists of books, catalogs, and letters related to Baskin that were collected by Hovey Harper and donated by his estate to the Smith College Museum of Art.
This collection contains photographs, correspondence, newspaper clippings, and drawings related to the professional and personal life of Jere Abbott, Director of the Smith College Museum of Art from 1932 until 1946.
