Abstract
Esther Lowenthal (1883-1980), Smith College Professor of Economics, 1912-1952, collected books on economic thought for many decades. These books came to Smith College in 1979. A selection of this collection was displayed in an exhibition in 1980 prepared by Mary E. Sigda, Smith College Class of 1981.
