Abstract Alma Routsong (pseudonym Isabel Miller) was born in 1924 in Traverse City, Michigan, the daughter of a nurse and a police officer. "The Farm" was founded in the mid-1980s. It is a self-supporting women's artist colony run by Kate Millett. Women apply to work at The Farm, a successful Christmas tree venture, in exchange for room, board and studio space. Records include applications, printed material, financial records.
