Scope and Contents
The YWCA of the USA and its associations conducted work at mill villages providing services, recreation, and clubs to women and their families living and working in mill villages. Photographs include images of women working in mills, mill village housing and camps, a secretary's house, and club programs. Photographed activities include recreation programs for children and adults, classes, and celebrations.
