Scope and Contents
Photographs of women participating in Patriotic League and homefront activities in support of World War I war work efforts. Patriotic League activities include women knitting, sewing, collecting goods, making candles, and supporting stationed men. Additional photographed activities include a automobile repair class in Lynchburg, Virginia and instruction in wireless communications. Wireless class photographs depict women learning how to use a wireless in addition to women instructing men.
