Scope and Contents
Holdings consist of a single issue -- Volume 2, Issue 1 -- which discusses the related cases of Michelle Whitnack and Laurie Raymond, who had been involved in leftist and feminist movements. Raymond was jailed because of a courtroom altercation during the hearing for Whitnack.
This issue also includes a report on the jailing of a trans woman for jaywalking, reprints of poetry, an account of an incarcerated parent who gave birth in prison, book reviews, lists of publications available to prisoners, and reports on health care in Washington state jails,
