Scope and Contents

Minutes and reports of the National Board of the YWCA of the U.S.A. and its executive committee. Minutes concern national business, budgets and finance, committee business, resolutions and recommendations and personnel management. In addition, materials may include reports from committees, reports of association program and method, and summaries of conferences and conventions. Materials in March and November 1921 include reports from the Reorganization Committee of the YWCA of the U.S.A. and organizational charts. The adoption of "Social Ideals" is discussed at length in the minutes and reports of April 1921. In addition, documents may include revision to the constitution and by-laws, discussion of the YWCA's relationships with other organizations and continued discussions of the evangelical basis for membership.

These microdexes may still be accessed on the original microfilm, and digital files may be made available to individual researchers upon request.
