Scope and Contents

Minutes and reports of the National Board of the YWCA of the U.S.A. and its executive committee. There are no microdexes two or three on this reel. Minutes concern national business, budgets and finance, committee business, fundraising, approval of new clubs, convention planning, resolutions and recommendations and personnel. In addition to meeting minutes materials include reports from committees, summaries of studies, lists of actions and resolutions, updates on international work and reports on cooperation with other organizations. As World War II comes to a close, focus continues on war work and relief efforts and then transitions to labor issues, and services to young adults and teens. Throughout the minutes and reports, the organization of the YWCA of the U.S.A. and its programming is under constant analysis and study.
