North Eastern Field Committee minutes and reports, 1918 January-1920 April
Scope and Contents
Minutes of meetings of the YWCA of the U.S.A. North Eastern Field Committee and reports from secretaries in the field. Field work committees work to unite local associations and assist in serving the united purpose of the YWCA of the U.S.A. Meetings of the field committee cover financial and personnel issues, plan camps and conferences and review secretary reports. Secretaries' reports summarize field visits, make recommendations, request resources from the National Board, assess the needs of local associations and evaluate association performance. These narrative reports provide an overview of association work in the northeastern region. As World War I approaches, work with international institutes and industrial clubs becomes more active. Some minutes of the World Fellowship Committee of the YWCA of the U.S.A. are included in the materials.
