North Eastern Field Committee minutes and reports, 1920 May-1922 January
Scope and Contents
Minutes and reports from the YWCA of the U.S.A. North Eastern Field committee covering New York, New Jersey, and New England. Meeting minutes concern committee business, resolutions, reports of new associations, acceptance of secretarial reports, organization, and planning of camps and conferences. Following meeting minutes are reports submitted by secretaries. These narrative reports give an overview of their work in the field and make suggestions and requests for future work. Field secretaries are charged with assisting new and existing associations, ensuring a unified goal and purpose across member YWCA associations, and assessing the state of associations. In the time following World War I, the field committee continues to focus on International Institutes and immigrants as well as the continued growth of Industrial needs. Finance and budget concerns grow throughout the years covered.
