Basic Standards Committee minutes and reports, 1947-1970
Scope and Contents
In order to become affiliated and maintain affiliation with the YWCA of the U.S.A., local associations must meet a set of basic standards and report on their compliance. The Basic Standards Committee of the YWCA of the U.S.A. sets those standards revisiting them periodically to make sure they reflect the mission and purpose of the national organization. In addition, the committee develops, collects and assesses the standards report forms submitted by associations. In addition to minutes and reports documents include, drafts and final copies of the basic standards, reports summarizing the collected standards reports and examples of blank reporting forms.
