Scope and Contents

Minutes and reports of the National Intercollegiate Christian Council Administrative Committee. The National Intercollegiate Christian Council, or N.I.C.C., is a council of representatives from national and regional student Christian movements uniting the movement under common purpose and goals and facilitating cooperation among student Christian groups. In 1951 the NICC changes its name to the National Student Councils of the YMCA and YWCA, or N.S.C.Y. The administrative committee meetings include review of reports from committees and conventions, program development, discussion and resolutions concerning points of emphasis and public affairs, development of summer programs, discussion of the role of student Christian movements on campuses and in national movements and defining cooperative relationships with other organizations. In addition, the administrative committee discusses plans for the publication "The Intercollegian."
