National Student Council Geneva Region minutes and reports, 1922-1931
Scope and Contents
Regional councils of the National Student Council of the YWCA of the U.S.A. are responsible for regional policy making, maintaining the relationship between local student associations, the National Student Council and maintaining the regional budget and staff. The Geneva region covers the Midwest territory including Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Ohio and Wisconsin. Ten area committees report to the Geneva Regional Council to increase the connection to local student associations and local needs. Geneva Regional Council meetings and reports include discussion of regional conference plans, reports from commissions and committees, discussion of the social, economic, religious and political issues affecting its members, study and review of relationships with the student YMCA, and budget and staffing reviews.

However, by agreement with the YWCA of the U.S.A., microdexes known to contain financial records or personal health information (usually on job applications) were not digitized and/or not published in our online repository as part of the CLIR Digitizing Hidden Collections grant. These microdexes may still be accessed on the original microfilm, and digital files may be made available to individual researchers upon request.
