Scope and Contents

Regional councils of the National Student Council of the YWCA of the U.S.A. are responsible for regional policy making, maintaining the relationship between local student associations and the National Student Council and maintaining the regional budget and staff. The Maqua region covers the Northeast states. Maqua Regional Council meetings and reports include discussion of regional conference plans, reports from commissions and committees, discussion of the social, economic, religious and political issues affecting its members, reports of visits to campuses, and budget and staffing reviews.
