Scope and Contents

Regional councils of the National Student Council of the YWCA of the U.S.A. are responsible for regional policy making, maintaining the relationship between local student associations, the National Student Council and maintaining the regional budget and staff. Southern Regional Council meetings and reports include discussion of regional conference plans, reports from commissions and committees, discussion of the social, economic, religious and political issues affecting its members, and budget and staffing reviews. Also included are reports summarizing student work in the states making up the Southern Regional Council.
