Scope and Contents

Documents concerning the YWCA of the U.S.A. Conference on Administration and reports from area conference meetings. Following the surge in activity during World War I, the Conference on Administration seeks to discuss ways to meet increased demand and to retain the enthusiasm and participation in the YWCA of the U.S.A. that arose from war work. The conference also assesses cooperation with other organizations looking at how the needs of particular areas are being met. Area conferences are an opportunity for the national program and emphasis to be shared with and interpreted to area associations. Issues and concerns unique to the area are discussed and area conferences report on new associations, give updates on work being done, and discuss upcoming conferences.
