Conventions, third, 1911
Scope and Contents
Documents concerning the Third National Convention of the Young Women's Christian Associations of the United States of America. Program, proceedings and bulletins summarize committee resolutions and recommendations, provide the text of addresses given by special speakers, list delegates and member associations and provide an overview of the convention activities. The convention addresses focus on the role of religion in work with social movements, missions overseas and other local association work with women. These matters are discussed in addition to the role of the YWCA of the U.S.A. in the women's movement. Also included in the proceedings are reports from territorial committees and YWCA of the U.S.A. departments. The relationship between local, regional, national, and world YWCA's is discussed throughout.
