Conventions, fifth, 1916
Scope and Contents
Reports, proceedings, and other documents from the Fifth National Convention of the Young Women's Christian Associations of the United States of America. The convention reports provide updates from each YWCA of the U.S.A. department as well as summarizing the events of the convention. Following the convention report, the "First Report of the Commission on Household Employment," a presentation of a study on household employees, addresses the unique challenges faced by household employees and how YWCA associations can help. Convention addresses include updates on work in China, India, and Japan, a discussion of the value of YWCA individual members and an update from Europe.
