Conventions, ninth, 1926
Scope and Contents
Documents concerning the Ninth National Convention of the Young Women's Christian Associations of the United States of America including correspondence regarding arranging fair accommodations for African American delegates, pageant programs, worship services and a published version of Rev. Charles W. Gilkey's address, "New Frontiers for Faith." Meeting minutes and reports of special interest groups including publicity, Girl Reserve, camp, finance, foreign work and health education document the proceedings and discussions of those special conference group meetings. A discussion guide for the foreign work group includes information regarding the Turco-American Treaty.
