The role of religion in membership is also discussed throughout the convention and includes discussion of the membership basis. The proceedings also document presentations from member groups including student, city, industrial, and business. Addresses include remarks from foreign secretaries updating the convention on YWCA work and conditions in their countries including Mexico, China, India and the Philippines.
