Scope and Contents

Official proceedings and actions of the Fourteenth National Convention of the Young Women's Christian Associations of the United States of America. The detailed proceedings follow the convention from opening remarks to final adjournment with a separate published report of convention actions following. Included in the proceedings are matters of business such as the adoption of reports, election of officers, and passing of resolutions; addresses and remarks; presentations of reports; presentations from the Student, Industrial, and Business and Professional Assemblies; and remarks from guest speakers. The convention covers a wide range of topics but the topics of changing social, economic and global issues arise throughout in addition to the role of religion in YWCA.
