Scope and Contents
Proceedings of the "Conference of Commission on Revision of Constitution of the Young Women's Christian Association U.S.A." Appointed at the Sixteenth Convention in 1940, the Commission on the Revision of the Constitution studies and works on revisions to the existing constitution to provide more structure, distribution of responsibility, unity, and communication between national and local associations. The commission meets in 1942 to discuss findings and prepare for upcoming conferences and conventions not knowing if the convention would be cancelled in 1943. Due to the cancellation, the commission presents at the 1946 Seventeenth Convention.
