Conventions, nineteenth, 1951-1952
Scope and Contents
Documents concerning the National Student Assembly of the Nineteenth National Convention of the Young Women's Christian Associations of the United States of America. At each convention the national student assembly meets to unite under a single purpose and discuss issues that arise in local student associations. Following the adoption of the national standards of affiliation with the national YWCA at a previous convention, the national student council circulates the basic standards for student association affiliation with the national YWCA, sample constitutions, and a questionnaire for evaluating the status of a local student association. In response to world and national politics, a panel discussion is held on freedoms on college campuses and the anti-communist movements.
