Scope and Contents

National Board report to the Twentieth National Convention of the Young Women's Christian Associations of the United States of America. Prior to the convention the National Board prepares a report summarizing and assessing the work done over the previous three years since the last convention. YWCA of the U.S.A. activities continue to have a strong emphasis on international cooperation and work towards human rights and equality. A special project continuing at the convention is the centennial celebration of the YWCA in the U.S.A. Throughout the reports the role of the National Board is discussed in relationship to different departments and projects. Twentieth
