Scope and Contents

Workbook, program, and call to the Twenty-first National Convention of the Young Women's Christian Associations of the United States of America. Distributed prior to the convention, the workbook provides an update on work and progress since the previous convention and discusses current trends and background information for topics that will be discussed at convention. The theme of the twenty-first convention is "deep roots and world reach." The workbook indicates that the convention will focus on strengthening its roots to community work and serving individuals and remembering the individual's place in the world organization. Similar to the previous convention, discussion concerns the changing technology, social interactions, economic conditions, and roles of women.
