Colombia, Dutch Guiana and Peru, 1934-1950
Scope and Contents
Documents concerning young women's Christian association activities in Colombia, Dutch Guiana (Surinam) and Peru. The YWCA of the U.S.A. Foreign Division supports the establishment and development of YWCA associations in many countries. Correspondence concerning Peru and Colombia consider the possibility and likelihood of establishing associations in those countries. In addition, correspondence from Peru concerns the exchange of students and learning opportunities. In Surinam, YWCA activities center around work with girls through "triangle associations," divisions of the Holland YWCA association.
