Scope and Contents
Reports, worship programs, and conference programming materials for the World YWCA Council conference in Muskoka, Ontario, Canada. International conferences of the legislative body of the World YWCA meet periodically to unite under a shared vision and purpose, discuss and agree on positions of political and social action, hear updates from YWCA associations, discuss the relationships within the World YWCA and discuss the role of Christianity and religion in the organization and as it concerns women globally. Convention addresses and discussions include international relationships, the relationship with the YMCA and the role of women in the social and ecumenical global movements. Reports from committees summarize the conference proceedings and actions.

This collection is open for use without restriction beyond the standard terms and conditions of Smith College Special Collections.
However, by agreement with the YWCA of the U.S.A., microdexes known to contain financial records or personal health information (usually on job applications) were not digitized and/or not published in our online repository as part of the CLIR Digitizing Hidden Collections grant.
