Scope and Contents

Documents concerning the regional conference of World Young Women's Christian Associations in Ceylon, the International Study Conference for Workers Among Boys and Girls of Secondary Schools in Dassel, Germany and the meeting of the World YWCA World Council in Geneva, Switzerland. National associations from the Pacific region meet in Ceylon to discuss the role of women in the Christian movement, the role of women in social and political change and international relations. The regional conference unites the associations under common cause and purpose and allows a forum for shared discussion and updates concerning their work. The Dassel Youth Conference concerns the role of youth in the changing world and their involvement in social and political change. Finally, the meeting of the World YWCA Council in Geneva convenes to discuss international relations, give updates on national association work and discuss the aims and purposes of the world women's movement.
