World's YWCA, 1924-1926
Scope and Contents
Documents concerning the international conferences of the World Young Women's Christian Associations in Oxford and Hoddeston, England. Delegates from national associations and members of the World YWCA executive committee meet to unite under a common purpose and aim, discuss the future of the YWCA movement and discuss and vote on matters that affect the international organization. In addition, delegates may bring updates and needs from their national associations. Minutes, reports and proceedings summarize and outline the conference proceedings and preparatory materials sent to delegates ahead of time contain readings to prepare them for the conference discussions. The materials for the Oxford, England conference contain copies from "Alden's Oxford Guide."

However, by agreement with the YWCA of the U.S.A., microdexes known to contain financial records or personal health information (usually on job applications) were not digitized and/or not published in our online repository as part of the CLIR Digitizing Hidden Collections grant.
