Scope and Contents

World YWCA pamphlets arranged alphabetically by title and miscellaneous correspondence with the World YWCA. Pamphlets are printed for information sharing, fund raising and raising awareness and concern the Christian role of the World YWCA, the activities and development of national YWCA associations, the aims and purposes of the World YWCA, YWCA work with young girls around the world, needs and services for immigrants, working conditions and opportunities for women, relief work during World War II and reconstruction efforts following World War II. Pamphlets are listed by title following the microdex title card. Following the pamphlets, miscellaneous correspondence concerns the YWCA activities around the world, requests for information for studies and other miscellaneous inquiries.
