Girl Reserve conferences, 1941
Scope and Contents
Girl Reserve, the YWCA club for adolescent girls, is an opportunity for girl to meet and to develop their spiritual, physical and intellectual lives through social activities, camps, leadership training and classes. At the 1941 regional Girl Reserve conferences, Girl Reserve clubs from around the central region hold regional camps and conferences to unite under a common purpose and aim, interact with girls from other clubs and backgrounds, discuss the social, economic, political and spiritual problems they face and participate in fun recreations and activities. Conference reports and proceedings summarize and assess the conference discussion groups, equipment and facilities, food and recreation. Discussions and emphases include Vocational guidance, social relationships and the religious life of the young woman.
