Scope and Contents

Documents concerning YWCA of the U.S.A. international institute programs for second generation immigrants. These include autobiographies, reports and case studies. Second Generation materials concern first generation American women and young girls and how their social and cultural experiences affect their lives, work, relationships and place among other nationalities. Case studies and autobiographies provide narrative accounts of what life was like and reports provide demographic and other statistical information on first generation girls.
