Scope and Contents

Documents concerning the staff meetings, standards study, Student Volunteer Movement and studies of the National Student YWCA. Staff meeting minutes concern the personnel needs of the student division, leadership training, the implementation of the program and emphases of the National Student Council. Two standards studies are conducted to assess the structure and organization of the student division, its relationship to the parts of the YWCA of the U.S.A. and its relationship to other organizations. One study is a result of the standards study of the YWCA of the U.S.A. and the other is a result of the desire of the YWCA of the U.S.A. Program Planning Committee to understand the workings of the National Student Council better. Minutes, reports, bylaws, notes and pamphlets of the Student Volunteer Movement for Christian Missions describe the group's mission to recruit and education Christian college student on the field of missions and the international needs and provide summaries of their role on campuses and general information regarding the purpose and function of the movement. Other student association studies and reports include a survey of women college students and an assessment of materials sent to student associations.
