YWCA, circa 1925-1943
Scope and Contents
Documents concerning the practices, policies and procedures for membership in the YWCA of the U.S.A. and its local associations. The status of junior members, members under the age of eighteen, is discussed and studied to define their role in the organization and membership benefits. Reports and letters from local associations concerning their thought on junior membership are arranged alphabetically by city. To unite members in local associations and provide opportunities for collaboration, Leadership Councils meet to discuss the overall membership policy and program as it relates to the whole association and membership meetings facilitate discussion among members.
