Documents concerning the general administration of the YWCA of the U.S.A., YWCA of the U.S.A. correspondence with United States government offices and documents concerning the YWCA of the U.S.A.'s participation in the Advisory Committee on Voluntary Foreign Aid. General administration documents include correspondence, reports and press releases from the General Secretary of the YWCA of the U.S.A., Robert Heller & Associates report recommending the organizational structure of the business administration of the YWCA of the U.S.A. and an employee manual for secretarial office duties. Correspondence, notes and reports from the Advisory Committee on Voluntary Foreign Aid concern the YWCA of the U.S.A.'s role as a registered organization. Other government documents include letters and reports to government offices alphabetical by department. Letters and reports to the United States State Department concern their exchange of persons programs and the coordination of work outside of the United States.

However, by agreement with the YWCA of the U.S.A., microdexes known to contain financial records or personal health information (usually on job applications) were not digitized and/or not published in our online repository as part of the CLIR Digitizing Hidden Collections grant. These microdexes may still be accessed on the original microfilm, and digital files may be made available to individual researchers upon request.
