Leadership services, 1951-1959
Scope and Contents
Documents concerning YWCA of the U.S.A. induction institutes in the central and eastern regions of the YWCA of the U.S.A. The Leadership Services Department of the National Board of the YWCA of the U.S.A. is responsible for leadership development and program support in the YWCA of the U.S.A. To help train new staff members, the Leadership Services Department develops regional induction institutes. At these institutes, new staff members learn about the purpose of the YWCA of the U.S.A., what their role is in the YWCA of the U.S.A. and practice methods and techniques they may use during their time as a leader in the YWCA of the U.S.A. Materials for the central and eastern region include session evaluations, reports compiling the regional results, lists of attendees, correspondence to potential attendees and fliers advertising the institutes.
