Scope and Contents

Documents concerning outside organizations of interest to the YWCA of the U.S.A. including those working with women and youth. The YWCA of the U.S.A., as a large national women's organization frequently has need to cooperate with and stay informed of the work work of outside organizations. Correspondence, reports and minutes document the relationship the YWCA of the U.S.A. has with women's organizations and youth organizations. In addition to materials concerning their relationships with youth and women's organizations, documents include a report of the World Christian Youth Commission leadership consultation, issues of the World Assembly of Youth publication, "WAY Forum," and the National Council of Women's discussions of relationships with women's organizations in Latin America. Additional correspondence with outside organizations includes an invitation to participate in a social work conference in Texas and requests for grants from the Fund of the Republic.
