Scope and Contents

Minutes, reports and correspondence concerning the YWCA of the U.S.A. central region associations. Regional staff, central region members of the YWCA of the U.S.A. National Board and central region field staff meet to discuss the status and needs of associations in the region, bring reports from conferences and conventions and review financial needs. In addition, meetings may include review of the relationship between the YWCA of the U.S.A. and the YMCA of the USA associations in the central region and discussion of future regional development and programing. Memorandums from central region staff to executive directors and presidents of local associations are a channel of communication between regional and local staff often containing reminders of upcoming events and brief report of meetings and events. Additional material includes a report on new organizations in 1958 and the 1958 triennial report of the region.
