Scope and Contents

Documents concerning student associations affiliation, disaffiliation and basic standards. As members of the national YWCA of the U.S.A. organization, local student associations must apply for affiliation and meet basic standards of affiliation to maintain membership in good standing. LIsts of affiliated, unaffiliated and disaffiliated associations track the status of student associations across the United States. Also included are statistical summaries and outlines of affiliation standards and procedures. Basic standards ensure that the associations meet basic requirements and maintain a healthy association. Associations complete a basic standards self evaluation and submit the completed form to the National Board of the YWCA of the U.S.A. The completed forms are summarized into a narrative report and the data compiled into tables. Summary reports are accompanied by blank reporting forms and introductory letters sent to associations.
