National Student Councils YMCA and YWCA, 1950-1955
Scope and Contents
Planning, program and post assembly materials for the fourth and fifth National Student Assembly of the YWCA and YMCA. National student assemblies are joint meetings of delegates from the National Student YWCA and National Student YMCA to discuss key national and international issues affecting students and decide on the direction of the movement for the coming years. Materials include correspondence and preparatory materials to delegates such as discussion guides, readings, assembly brochures and reports on key issues of emphasis. Additional materials include assembly bulletins, lists of delegates and assembly reports.

This collection is open for use without restriction beyond the standard terms and conditions of Smith College Special Collections.
However, by agreement with the YWCA of the U.S.A., microdexes known to contain financial records or personal health information (usually on job applications) were not digitized and/or not published in our online repository as part of the CLIR Digitizing Hidden Collections grant. These microdexes may still be accessed on the original microfilm, and digital files may be made available to individual researchers upon request.
