National Student Councils YMCA and YWCA, 1960
Scope and Contents
Documents concerning National Student Councils of the YMCA and YWCA USSR exchange program. The National Student Councils of the YMCA and YWCA exchange program with the Soviet Union is an opportunity for students from the United States and the Soviet Union to spend time in each other's countries, develop international understanding, learn leadership skills and share their own experiences with others. Documents are grouped by those pertaining to trip preparation and those concerning the trip itself. An index at the beginning of the materials provides further guidance to the contents including study materials, schedules, student reports and documentation of an incident involving a student who was expelled from the country.
