Scope and Contents

Documents concerning the Student Christian Movement in New England, its administration, relationships and awareness project for student Christian groups in Africa. The organization, structure and administrative functions of the Student Christian Movement in New England are defined in its constitutions and bylaws. Their relationship with the New England Methodist Student Movement and Student Volunteer Movement is assessed in minutes and reports of committees including proposals for the structure and nature of the relationships. Regional council minutes include reports on regional program, administrative needs, relationships and finance. Staff work is further documented in staff work plans, outlines of intended travel and visitation schedules. The World Student Christian Federation (WSCF) Africa Project seeks to raise awareness for the growing student Christian movement in Africa and raise funds for a secretary to work on the development of the work in Africa. Brochures, correspondence and speeches concern the project's importance and the Student Christian Movement in New England's role.
