Student Pacific Southwest region, 1953-1961
Scope and Contents
Documents concerning the work of the National Student YWCA in the Pacific Southwest region including work with junior colleges, staff work plans and regional surveys. Regional work with junior college campuses is assessed in a report that includes recommendations for future development. The overall structure and activity of student associations in the Pacific Southwest is presented in a report of a regional survey giving regional context to the student work. Staff work plans outline intended travel and visitation plans for regional field staff.

This collection is open for use without restriction beyond the standard terms and conditions of Smith College Special Collections.
However, by agreement with the YWCA of the U.S.A., microdexes known to contain financial records or personal health information (usually on job applications) were not digitized and/or not published in our online repository as part of the CLIR Digitizing Hidden Collections grant. These microdexes may still be accessed on the original microfilm, and digital files may be made available to individual researchers upon request.
