Young adult conferences, 1945-1960
Scope and Contents
Documents concerning the planning, program and evaluation of YWCA of the U.S.A. young adult conferences in the western region followed by materials concerning all regional young adult summer conferences. Regional young adults conferences bring together young adult members from many different YWCA of the U.S.A. programs from across the region to discuss common issues that young adults may face in addition to providing opportunity for recreation and socialization with other young adults. Western region conferences are held at the Asilomar conference grounds in California until 1959 and 1960 when they are held in Estes Park, Colorado. Conference reports combine a statistical overview with narrative summaries and assessments. Additional materials include pre program materials for delegates, bulletins, fliers, schedules and lists of delegates. General summer conference materials include a leader's handbook fliers and a map showing regional boundaries.
