Community Division, 1965-1970
Scope and Contents
Community Division handbooks, policies and work tools for local, regional and national staff. The Community Division is responsible for services to local associations that support their role in the community, facilitate relationships with other associations and the national organization, their administrative functions and their role as part of a global organization. These work tools support the Community Division's staff in fulfilling their support to local associations and provide guidance to local associations in developing sustainable and effective program. The documents are preceded by a list of the documents in the order they appear.

This collection is open for use without restriction beyond the standard terms and conditions of Smith College Special Collections.
However, by agreement with the YWCA of the U.S.A., microdexes known to contain financial records or personal health information (usually on job applications) were not digitized and/or not published in our online repository as part of the CLIR Digitizing Hidden Collections grant. These microdexes may still be accessed on the original microfilm, and digital files may be made available to individual researchers upon request.
