Scope and Contents

Documents concerning the programs, administration and leadership of the National Student YWCA and the College and University Division of the YWCA of the U.S.A. This work and programs include activities at junior colleges. Program guidelines, reports and lists of junior college programs document junior college activities and approaches as they differ and match work in four year colleges and universities. Following these documents are program proposals and planning documents for leadership development programs in the YWCA of the U.S.A. College and University Division. These proposals are followed by lists of active and inactive student associations, officers of the National Student YWCA, officers of the National Student Council YMCA and YWCA, regional council chairs, and urban center colleges and universities. Membership policies and practices are discussed in memorandums, reports and outlines and include discussion of the membership basis as well as policies for male members of student YWCA's. The microdex concludes with proceedings and reports from National Student Assemblies. Student assemblies convene every four years as a representative body of the National Student YWCA to participate in discussion and learning and to vote on the direction of the movement, make recommendations to the council and vote on any additional business brought to the assembly.
