Teenage conferences, 1970
Scope and Contents
Documents concerning the program, preparations and evaluations of the 1970 Y-Teen summer conferences in the southern region of the YWCA of the U.S.A. Summer conferences are held in smaller state or regional sections within the region to unite Y-Teen members under common purpose, expose them to new members, provide opportunity to participate in discussion regarding issues of regional and national importance to teens and take part in the YWCA beyond their local association. These smaller regions in the South include GAF (Georgia, Alabama and Florida), Kentucky-Tennessee, Mid-South, Mississippi and Texas-Oklahoma. Documents include participant and leader conference evaluations, conference reports, program and materials sent to participants ahead of the conference.
