Teenage conferences, 1969-1970

Scope and Contents

Documents concerning 1969 and 1970 Y-Teen area summer conferences in the western region of the YWCA of the U.S.A. Summer conferences are held in smaller state or regional sections within a region to unite Y-Teen members under common purpose, expose them to new members, provide opportunity to participate in discussion regarding issues of regional and national importance to teens and take part in the YWCA beyond their local association. There are no records of individual area conferences for 1970 present on the microfilm. Instead there are minutes and reports reporting on all area conferences for the year. 1969 area conferences include Hawaii, the Northwest, Southern California and the Southwest and documents are present for each area conference.
