Indiana, circa 1906-1950
Scope and Contents
Reports, correspondence and administrative records concerning the YWCA of the U.S.A. association in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Visitation reports describe and assess the association's program, leadership, activities, facilities and services. Other documents include constitutions and bylaws, a residence survey, lists of professional and volunteer leadership, historical summaries and fact sheets. In 1927 the association comes under attack from the community and local newspapers for its education program concerning peace and pacifism and later other areas of their programs.
