Scope and Contents
Documents concerning YWCA of the U.S.A. associations in Muncie, Richmond, Shelby County and Shelbyville, Indiana and interest in new associations in New Albany and New Castle, Indiana. YWCA of Muncie, Indiana documents include a study of youth services in Muncie and the history and constitution of the Phyllis Wheatley Branch of the YWCA of Muncie, a branch serving the African American women and girls of Muncie. Other documents include administrative records, lists of professional and volunteer leadership, affiliation applications, visitation reports, advisory correspondence from the YWCA of the U.S.A., historical summaries and association fact sheets.
